Baby Henley was just 6 days old when she came in for her newborn photo session in Richfield, Utah. She was the sweetest little girl with SO much hair!

Before each Central Utah newborn photography session, I send parents a newborn session guide that walks them through what to expect. I typically advise parents to feed baby before leaving for the studio, and be prepared to possibly feed them as needed during the session and/or before they leave. Some babies like to eat often during the session (being photographed is hard work), and some sleep right through!

Although it was painful to cover up Henley's beautiful hair, she looked so darn cute in this little bonnet. She sort of reminded me of one of those little Russian Matryoshka dolls.

Same photography set up, but instead of the bonnet, we put on a floral headband. I love that she is looking at the camera in this one! "Eye contact" can be difficult to capture in a newborn photo shoot, so when it happens, it's so fun!

I had Dad get involved in this one. I love how parent's hands put the baby in perspective and you can see just how tiny the newborn really is!

We got so many great newborn photos for her family to cherish for years to come.
