Baby Haven came in for her newborn photo session in Richfield, Utah in December, and her parents requested a few Christmas setups. Christmas is one of my favorite holidays, so it was so fun to style this session and do a few different things.
I decided to do some pictures with red for Christmas. Red can be a tricky color to photograph; it tends to leave a red cast to newborn's skin. But with the help of my lighting and a little photoshop, it wasn't a problem!
Before each session for newborn photography in Central Utah, I send out a questionnaire to parents asking what colors and props they would like to see incorporated into their session. Haven's mom said along with Christmas colors, she would like pink and purple. I love how the purple especially complimented her skin tone.
We also got some family photos with their newborn. Are these not the sweetest images?
It is always such an honor to take new parents' first family photographs with their brand new baby. The love they have for their newborn shines through these pictures and will be cherished for years to come.
Sweet little girl wasn't too interested in sleeping toward the end of the newborn photography session in Richfield, Utah, so we just rolled with it. I love the way these turned out!
We ended the newborn photo shoot with these cute little "mugshots."
