Newborn FAQ
Where are you located?
My private studio is located on Main Street in Richfield, Utah.
What should I bring to my newborn session?
I supply all of the newborn props, wraps, blankets, and headbands, so you don't need to worry about bringing anything to the session besides your cute baby. If you have a sentimental item you would like included in the session, you are welcome to bring it!
How soon in advance do I need to book?
I recommend booking at least 1-2 months in advance of your due date to secure your spot. Once your baby arrives, we can set a definite date for the session. I typically only have one slot per week for newborn photography in Richfield, Utah, so they can fill up fast. However, please still inquire if you are past this timeframe; I may have an opening!
How old should my newborn be for the session?
I recommend between 7-21 days, However, if your baby is older than this, a session can still be done. We just may get more awake photos than sleepy posed photos.
How long will the session last?
A typical posed newborn session lasts around 2-3 hours, depending on the temperament of baby and if we need to pause for feeding/changing.
Can I pick the colors and props used in the session?
I send a questionnaire before the session where you can let me know what your preferences are. I will style the different setups so that everything is ready to go when you arrive.
How do I get my photos?
After your session, I will do a light editing on your images and then upload them to a secure password-protected website. You will select the images you want, and I will do a final complete edit on them and send you a link to download them. Your albums and other products will be delivered to you if you live in Sevier County or mailed if you live further away.
Will you post my newborn's pictures on social media or your website?
Not unless you give me permission to! Otherwise, they are kept private. I value my client's privacy and take it very seriously.
